Canadian fine artist Cathy Linfield, a Mount Allison University graduate, is best known for her unique raku art and paintings and drawings. Her subjects range from the beauty of horses, to the elegance of the fine art nude, to the whimsical experimental pieces.

Her paintings came about as a result of seeing things in woodgrain. Sometimes a full image, sometimes as a body part. With a happy heart and a fun approach to the work she adds faux jewels, gold foil, string, rock, glass and anything that she feels belong on the surface.
